Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Blu-ray Box 2 to include a new picture drama penned by Katsuyuki Sumisawa!
We've got the Box 1 inner jacket designs plus comments from Sumisawa himself!

All 49 episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing are reborn in gorgeous remastered HD quality across the two volumes of the "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Blu-ray Box".
Volume 2 will also include an all-new picture drama, "Aratanaru Tatakai", created by Gundam Wing series writer Katsuyuki Sumisawa.
The picture drama will be based on Mr. Sumisawa's series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop, currently running in Gundam Ace.
It will be directed and storyboarded by Endless Waltz director Yasunao Aoki, with the original cast expected to return.
Fans will be able to see the novels' art in full color rather than black and white, along with all-new art.
Along with the image illustration for the picture drama, we're also able to show off Sakura Asagi and Masanori Shino's inner jacket designs for Box 1.

How did you feel when you heard that a new picture drama would be added to the TV series Blu-ray boxset?
I'm glad that Sunrise and Bandai Visual chose to produce both Frozen Teardrop and Blind Target as extras for the TV series Blu-rays.
While I wrote Gundam Wing decades ago, and I've continued the story with novels in Kadokawa Shoten's Gundam Ace magazine, I'm grateful to have the opportunity to explore yet another medium with the new picture drama.
What do you have to say to fans about the new picture drama?
I can't say anything about the story other than "see what happens for yourself!" But this definitely isn't just a bloopers reel or a by-the-numbers addition.
It's a brand-new story, that will challenge the cast to reach new and different heights.
The footage will combine Sakura Asagi's beautiful art with MORUGA's powerful portrayal of mecha. With TV main episode director and Endless Waltz director Yasunao Aoki storyboarding and directing, I think we have the staff necessary to make something great.
