A new edition after 26 years! "Char's Counterattack Original Soundtrack Complete Collection" on sale May 21st!

Sony Music will release a Complete Collection of the acclaimed Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack Original Soundtrack on May 21st.

This release, 26 years after the original, is remastered from the original analog masters using the latest technology. It includes previously-uncollected tracks, alternate takes, edited versions, and more, making it truly a Complete Collection.

It will be available in two formats: A limited edition available for ¥6,000 (tax not included) and a standard edition for ¥2,600.
The limited edition, a three-disc set, includes previously-unreleased alternate takes and re-edits to sync with the onscreen action. The set features a cover illustrated by Hidetoshi Ohmori. The standard edition's cover matches the earlier release, and is re-scanned in high resolution from Naoyuki Kato's original art.
Each includes a new booklet written by Harutoshi Fukui.
