Featuring Z Gundam, Qubeley, and Hyaku-Shiki! STRICT-G JAPAN Miyata Orimono Mobile Suit Z Gundam Hantens Going on Sale December 16!

STRICT-G JAPAN Miyata Orimono Mobile Suit Z Gundam Hanten featuring three designs will be released from STRICT-G, the apparel shop that features the Gundam universe, on Saturday, December 16.

From STRICT-G JAPAN, a series which was created to develop and convey the charms of products made in Japan and create a new sense of value, comes cotton-padded hantens (short coats worn over kimono) made in collaboration with Miyata Orimono, which was founded in 1913 in Chikugo City, Fukuoka.
The traditional cotton-padded hanten design has been revised into a fitted model with its sleeves cut for a closer fit to keep your body warmer. The outer fabric is made of a soft, textured weft yarn called “Nagomi”. The entire process for each piece, from weaving the outer fabric to the final stitching enclosing the cotton, is carefully carried out by hand domestically in Japan. They also have a long-length version designed for a more relaxed fit.

The lineup includes three designs from Mobile Suit Z Gundam: Z Gundam, Qubeley, and Hyaku-Shiki. Each has marks and emblems printed on the front, and a dynamic brush-style illustration of the Mobile Suit.
They are traditional Japanese cold-weather wear, adding a touch of everyday joy while providing warmth to both the mind and body.
