Inspired by Amuro and Char, STRICT-G x ALPHA INDUSTRIES Releases Two Mobile Suit Gundam Hooded Rib Jackets! Pre-orders Start Today at 1:00 PM

STRICT-G, the apparel shop that’s inspired by the world of Gundam, collaborated with military-style fashion brand ALPHA INDUSTRIES to release two types of Hooded Rib Jackets. Pre-orders begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 4 (JST), for 42,900 JPY each (tax included).

The jacket is a customized version of ALPHA INDUSTRIES’ long-selling hooded rib jacket, inspired by Amuro Ray and Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam.
They are made with high-density nylon twill fabric that has a solid feel and elegant shine. The thick threads give the jacket a unique, dense texture and firmness that sets it apart from other items.

Based on a flight jacket, they are designed with a modern, compact silhouette that offers a sleek and refined look when worn in a fitted size. The ribbed collar design keeps the neckline tight, and the detachable hood allows for a change of style depending on the occasion or outfit.
They also excel in functionality, using high-insulation Thermolite material for the padding. The thick ribbing on the collar, cuffs, and hem effectively blocks out cold wind.
The lineup includes two designs: the Amuro Ray model in replica blue, and the Char Aznable model with striking red accents on a black base.

The jackets will be available at STRICT-G stores from Saturday, October 19, and at ALPHA INDUSTRIES SHOPs (including limited-time stores) and online from mid-November, so be sure to check them out.
