The 11th GUNPLA Builders World Cup Tournament Will Begin in 16 Areas Around the World Starting in May!

11th GUNPLA Builders World Cup Tournament, an official world GUNPLA tournament sponsored by BANDAI SPIRITS, will be held in 16 areas around the world from May on.

This tournament has three courses separated by age: the U-14 Course, the U-20 Course, and the OVER-21 course. Participants will be judged in three areas: their GUNPLA construction, painting, and idea creativity. The world tournament finals and award ceremony are set to be held on Saturday, December 16th.

The format of the event (on-site or online) and details for each area will be announced on the GBWC official website and elsewhere later on.

(Japan, Mainland China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Indonesia, Australia, Vietnam, America, Canada, Europe & the Middle East, and the UK)

[GWBC Event Overview]
From May 2023 on, regional tournaments will be held in each area to select a representative.
That representative will appear in the world tournament on Saturday, December 16th.

[Courses]
・U-14 Course: Fourteen years old and younger (those born after January 1, 2009)
・U-20 Course: Fifteen to twenty years old (those born after January 1, 2003 and before December 31, 2008)
・OVER-21: Twenty-one years old and up (those born before December 31, 2002)
*Parental permission must be given for minors to apply for entry.

[Judging Methods]
Participants will be judged in three areas: their GUNPLA construction, painting, and idea creativity.

[World Tournament Finals]
BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division judges and modeling magazine Editorial Department judges, etc. will judge the photos.
・Award Ceremony: Planned for Saturday, December 16th. The format of the event will be announced at a later date.
・Result Announcement: Planned to be announced on Saturday, December 16th at the aforementioned award ceremony and on the GBWC official website.
*The 1st place winners from each area/region will be broadcast to the whole world on the GBWC official website and through video broadcasts of the tournament, etc.
