The Life-sized vGundam Statue Will Have a Winter-Only 23-24 Ver. Light Up! The Lighting Ceremony on December 2nd Will Be Attended by Soichiro Hoshi, Rie Tanaka, and Kenichi Suzumura!

The Life-sized vGundam Statue at Lalaport Fukuoka Forest Park will have a winter-only 23-24 ver. light show between Saturday, December 2, 2023, and Sunday, February 18, 2024.

The motifs of this lighting come from the movie Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM which was released in theaters all around Japan on Friday, January 26, 2024.
In commemoration of this lighting, there will be a lighting ceremony where Soichiro Hoshi (Kira Yamato’s VA), Rie Tanaka (Lacus Clyne’s VA), and Kenichi Suzumura (Shinn Asuka’s VA) as well as a special talk event, and a final SEED DESTINY Special Edition HD Remaster stage greeting event.

There will also be a Garapon Lottery Challenge starting on Friday, November 17th, where you can win prizes like a ticket to the special talk event. There will also be a Gundam Park Quiz Rally starting on Saturday, November 9th, where you can win incredible prizes like a poster autographed by the cast.

Please experience the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series directly at Lalaport Fukuoka this winter.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM will be in theaters around Japan on Friday, January 26, 2024. In commemoration of that, impressive statues of the Rising Freedom Gundam and Immortal Justice Gundam that appear in the movie will be set up.
Also, videos and music from the Gundam SEED series (with a focus on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY) will be projected on the wall behind the Gundam statue with narration by Shinn Asuka (voiced by Kenichi Suzumura).

A special talk event starring Soichiro Hoshi (Kira Yamato’s VA), Rie Tanaka (Lacus Clyne’s VA), and Kenichi Suzumura (Shinn Asuka’s VA) will be held on Saturday, December 2nd.
To participate, you need to win the Special Award: Talk Show Ticket during the Garapon Lottery Challenge that will be held between Friday, November 17th, and Friday, December 1st, so please participate in the challenge.
