Piloted Robot Archax
The Archax is a piloted robot developed by Tsubame Industries Co., Ltd.
The CTO of Tsubame Industries Co., Ltd., Akinori Ishii, is the technical director of GGC, and the technology of the life-size moving Gundam is used for the Archax.
This machine was created to fulfill the dream many people have had since childhood: to actually pilot a large robot like those in science fiction.
Stands 4.5 meters tall and weighs 3.5 tons, the Archax is fully electric, powered by an onboard battery. With 26 joints, the arms, hands, hip, head, and front legs are movable, and it navigates using front-wheel steering and rear-wheel drive. Inside the torso is the cockpit equipped with four screens displaying camera feeds for the pilot to control the robot using a joystick and pedals. Furthermore, the Archax can switch between a full-body operational robot mode and a travel-optimized vehicle mode.
Aiming to pioneer a completely new market of piloted robots, orders for the Archax are being accepted not only domestically but also internationally.
[Exhibition Period]
Saturday, December 16 to Sunday, December 24, 2023
[Demonstration Schedule]
From opening time until 4:45 PM (approximately one session per hour)
*The opening time varies depending on the day, so please check the calendar.
*The exhibition may be canceled due to rain or strong wind.

Asratec Corp where Mr. Wataru Yoshizaki, the system director of GGC, works provided their robot control system V-Sido. This system is also employed in the life-size moving Gundam, and the software enables the smooth coordination of the whole body.
The exterior was designed with the cooperation of Mr. Hidetaka Tenjin, known for his work on GUNPLA package art and various other fields.
The currently developed prototype measures about 3.4 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width, and 2.7 meters in height. It can walk while carrying up to four people.
It can walk forward, backward, and turn right and left, as well as squat for people to ride, and make rolling and pitching motions.
