GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -FINAL-, large-scale events where you can experience the future of the Gundam Series, will be held in Tokyo and Osaka.
These events will be the culmination of the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -ROAD TO 2025- event series, which was held in all 47 prefectures across Japan to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series. They will be places where Gundam fans from all over the country can share their thoughts and love for the series, and connect them to the upcoming Osaka-Kansai Expo and the future of mankind.
The venues will feature multiple corners, including the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, a private pavilion that will be held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and the very first displays featuring the new anime series Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX (which was just announced today on Wednesday, December 4th). The Tokyo venue will host the GUNPLA Builders World Cup 12th tournament world championship finals, an awards ceremony, exhibitions of masterpieces, and merchandise stores.
The Tokyo event will be held at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Sankaku Hiroba from Friday, February 21st to Monday, February 24th, 2025, and the Osaka event will be held at Grand Front Osaka from Tuesday, April 1st to Monday, April 14th, 2025. Be sure to visit the events and experience Gundam's 45th anniversary and the future of the series.
Additionally, Hatsune Miku collaboration items can be pre-ordered and purchased at the Metaverse Shop during the Gundam Metaverse 3rd Limited-Time Opening starting on Thursday, December 5th.
Furthermore, a collaboration between Mobile Suit Gundam and fragment, a design project led by Hiroshi Fujiwara, will be held to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series. Items with original designs supervised by Fujiwara will be released, so look forward to follow-up reports.

The large screen that will be placed at the entrance will show dynamic footage featuring the Gundam Aerial, Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, and GQuuuuuuX, offering an experience that leads to the Osaka-Kansai Expo’s GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION.
A monument (approx. 6.5m high) made using runners (frames for the parts) from GUNPLA with a design based on the arm of the life-sized Gundam statue that will be placed at the Osaka-Kansai Expo’s GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, and various GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION-related exhibits will be held. Furthermore, a life-sized GQuuuuuuX head (approx. 2.3m high) from the new animated series Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX will be exhibited for the first time, and panels and products featuring the series will be on display.
At the venues, message cards from fans from all 47 prefectures of Japan written during GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -ROAD TO 2025- (held since June 2024) will be collected and exhibited. There will also be participatory projects such as GUNPLA Battle VR, where you can experience piloting a GUNPLA in a digital space, Gundam R (Recycle) Operation, where you can experience assembling and recycling GUNPLA, and various stage events will be held every day.

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the Tokyo venue will host the world championship finals, awards ceremony, and exhibition of GUNPLA Builders World Cup 12th Tournament, the official GUNPLA contest. Approximately 40 finalists from 16 areas/regions from across the world will gather at the Tokyo venue.
The masterpieces will also be exhibited at the Osaka venue.
