The Witch From Mercury PROLOGUE was Screened Overseas for the First Time! 2022 Overseas Mini Report ③ San Diego Comic-Con International

Summer 2022 Overseas Event Mini Report is a short series that introduces events held outside of Japan this summer.
In this third article, we offer a sneak peek into Comic-Con International held for four days (July 21st~24th) at the San Diego Convention Center in the US.

COMIC-CON is a pop culture event focusing on comics that originated began as the Golden State Comic Book Convention which was founded in 1970.
Various attractions were held, including large exhibitions, talk events, hands-on workshops, anime and movie screenings, the announcement of the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards winners, and portfolio review meetings. More than 130,000 visitors participate every year, and related events are held in various locations throughout San Diego around the convention center.

This was the first physical event in three years since 2019, and the first overseas screening of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY PROLOGUE from the latest Gundam TV series was held. Statues of the RX-78 Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero (EW) and Gundam Epyon (EW) were also on display, and GUNPLA and other Gundam-related items were also exhibited and sold.

Many Gundam fans of all ages gathered at the venue and enthusiastically enjoyed product displays and new information about the latest series.
