Photo Report for Gundam World CONTRAST in Osaka, Currently Open at Hirakata Park in Osaka!
Gundam World CONTRAST in Osaka, a new touring type of event, is now open at Hirakata Park in Osaka.
This event explores the appeal of Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED from multiple perspectives, and the series’ contrast is woven into the exhibition’s format to create a never-before-seen Gundam event.
The exhibition corner features historical context and famous scenes from each series, and contrast exhibitions that express the protagonists’ growth have been split into four areas. Many products can be found at the sales area, such as event limited edition snacks and goods; event limited edition, Gundam Base limited edition, and GUNDAM SIDE-F limited edition GUNPLA; Gunpla-kun items, and more.
Same-day tickets are available at the venue. They cost 1,000 JPY for adults and 500 JPY (tax incl.) for children (elementary and middle school ages). Please check the event out if you live in the area. It will be open until Monday, January 9, 2023.
Also, a collaboration café that serves drinks made in characters’ images will be open inside Hirakata Park for a limited time only. A collaboration menu and bonus coasters have been prepared, so please check it out as well.

■Story Wall
This story wall weaves together the viewpoints of Amuro Ray, the protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam, and Kira Yamato, the protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
The stories of each series are introduced throughout four areas. In addition to space productions that match the themes of each area and a diorama exhibition that realistically expresses famous scenes from the series, there will also be an exhibition of special images drawn especially for this event and an exhibit that intertwines three-dimensional panels of Amuro and Kira with visual images.

・Area 3: Decisions at Earth
・Area 4: To Space at Space II
