A Talk Stage Featuring Shuko Murase and Naohiro Ogata of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway and THE WITCH FROM MERCURY Took Place! An Anime NYC 2022 GUNDAM EXPO U.S.A 2022 Photo Report!

Anime NYC 2022, one of the largest anime conventions in North America, was held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, USA for three days from Thursday, November 17th to Saturday, November 19th.

Anime NYC is an event that introduces Japanese pop culture through various attractions such as exhibitions, screenings, and guest panels. Many creators and voice actors from Japan go on stage as guests.

GUNDAM EXPO U.S.A. 2022, an event specifically focused on Gundam, was held this year. This event was held at a booth set up in the Anime NYC 2022 venue. Statues of Gundam Aerial and Wing Gundam were exhibited, limited-edition items were sold, and participants assembled ENTRY GRADE RX-78-2 Gundam kits. A challenge to gain the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most people assembling plastic robot models simultaneously (multiple venues) was also held.

In addition, a talk stage was held where guests such as Shuko Murase, director of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway and Naohiro Ogata, executive producer of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY appeared to introduce each title.
A live performance was held by [Alexandros], who sang "Senkou", the theme song of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, which enthralled the audience.

Award ceremonies for the North American GUNPLA Builders World Cup 10th Tournament and the GUNDAM BREAKER MOBILE North America Builders Finals 2022, live e commerce featuring limited edition items, and streaming programs introducing GUNDAM UNIVERSE and the new GUNDAM EVOLUTION FPS game were also held.
