Everyone from the SD Gundam World Will Gather at Once! Gashapon 45th Anniversary Expo 1977→2022 is Starting 12/15 Inside JR Shinagawa Station in Tokyo!

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the toy capsule brand Gashapon, the pop-up event Gashapon 45th Anniversary Expo 1977→2022 ~Gashapon’s Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa~ will begin Thursday, December 15th inside the ticket gates of JR Shinagawa Station in Tokyo at the event space near the stairs to Concourses 7 & 8. Entry is free.

At this event, in addition to an exhibition of historic Gashapon vending machines where you can experience 45 years’ worth of Gashapon excitement, a booth will be set up where you can see decades’ worth of Gashapon items from series such as SD Gundam World come together. The entire exhibition space is designed to look like a chronological table, so you can look back on the history of Gashapon that has evolved from Showa to Heisei and Reiwa eras while having fun.
There will also be a free Gashapon vending machine where you can get your hands on a Mame Gasha Book 45th Anniversary Edition, which summarizes the progress of Gashapon’s 45th anniversary in the palm of your hand. Be sure to check it out.

・The exhibition space is designed to look like a chronological table that covers 45 years of Gashapon history.
・Nine historic vending machines are on display, from BVM100, the first Gashapon machine that appeared in 1977, to Gashapon Station W.
・More than 100 highly popular Gashapon products gathered together, like Chodenji Robo Combattler V, Kinkeshi, SD Gundam World, HG Ultraman, Ojamajo DX, the hair accessory collection, the Yokai Medal series, the One Piece fruit series, the Ikimono Encyclopedia series, and the Machiboke series.
