Tokyo International Film Festival's "The World of Gundam" lineup announced!

The 28th Tokyo International Film Festival, centered on Roppongi Hills in Minato, Tokyo, will be held from October 22nd through the 31st. We are pleased to announce the lineup of the "The World of Gundam" screening program.

Gundam is not just a classic, but has also continued to evolve through the years, and the TIFF lineup will include a selection of over twenty of its most fascinating iterations.
Among the titles presented is Ring of Gundam, the full CG animation film created in 2009 by director Yoshiyuki Tomino to celebrate the Gundam thirtieth anniversary.

At the Tokyo International Film Festival, with all eyes on Japan's unique film culture and style, the Gundam series which propelled Japanese robot animation to global fame, and which continues to have a profound effect on the Japanese relationship with the future and the cosmos, will take center stage.
