Anime companies, organizations, and contents will be on display at the world's largest animation event "AnimeJapan 2018" which will take place March 24 through 25, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) at Tokyo Big Sight.

At "AnimeJapan", which is celebrating its 5th anniversary year, all stages will be open, there will be 5 stages, 5th anniversary commemorative character, and AnimeJapan broadcast booth. For the 5th anniversary celebration project it will be filled with events, and will have the premiere selling of official goods by Sunrise. There will also be creative seminars, an anime clubbing event "AJ Night 2018", and local town con event "Ani☆Con Tokyo in AnimeJapan". At the same venue inside east hall 7, there will also be a family-oriented anime event "Family Anime Festa 2018", so let's go see it!

Sunrise official goods will premiere and sell their newest items at "AnimeJapan 2018" in East Hall 6 Booth J74 at the "Bandai Namco Group Booth".

Ten items such as "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Amulet" and "Mobile Suit Gundam Character T-Shirt Gihren Zabi" will premiere there, as well as original goods from Yatate Bunko.

"AnimeJapan 2018" exclusive original goods that always sell out every year include "AJ Gatcha" (27 types), "Acrylic Holders/Keychains" (20 types), "Chocolate Set". Most of the illustrations are specially drawn for the 5th anniverary of AnimeJapan.

On March 25, 2018 (Sunday), there will be a "The Making of "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN"" panel at the presentation stage for the creation seminar creation seminar.

"THE ORIGIN" producer Osamu Taniguchi and CG Producer Kiichiro Inoue will apear and talk about using cel and CG animation together, the production process, and how the collaboration process works during the production process.

Also at AnimeJapan 2018 is a creative process exhibition called "Production Works Gallery" which will feature not only the above works but also titles like "GODZILLA: Monster Planet", which introduces the current state of CG animation. You can get a sense of the future direction of animation from the booths which will display all the different types of production flows and methods.

"AnimeJapan 2018" will have a DJ play and artist live event and anisong clubbing during "AJ Night 2018", together with newest anime title announcements and talk events on various other stages during "AJ Open Stage".

"AJ Open Stage" will consist of Red, White, Green, Yellow, and Blue, 5 stages total. On March 24 (Saturday) 11:55am at the Red stage for "BS11 'Anison Days' Special Stage", an acoustical special live will be performed, and all kinds of other perfomances will be held throughout the day, so let's go see them!

There will also be a "Let's all pick! Anime rankings for everything!", city con event "Ani☆Con Tokyo in AnimeJapan", and latest news from "V-STORAGE WEBSITE business trip edition" will be distributed for free. At the Gundam Fanclub booth "1st Official Gundam Fanclub Gunpla Exhibition" will be on display.

On Saturday and Sunday, March 24 through 25, 2018, at Tokyo Big Sight East Hall 7, the family-oriented anime event "Family Anime Festa 2018" will occur.

The event isn't limited to just elementary school children, but parents can come and enjoy free admission, there is a family stage and play corner, the kids workshop corner is also free admission. There will also be a free shuttle bus for families connecting the Rinkai line to Tokyo Big Sight East Hall 7.

Children can take part in a simple production experience at the "Kids Workshop Corner" with Mobile Suit Gundam during a "Gunpla Assembly Experience Meeting".

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis until they're all gone, so don't miss this chance.
