The Japanese representative-determining "Japan Tournament Finals Awards Ceremony" of the official gunpla world tournament "Gunpla Builders World Cup 2018" (GBWC2018) was held November 18, 2018 (Sun) at the gunpla facility "Gundam Base Tokyo" in Odaiba.

At the awards ceremony, the open and junior course's first through third places were announced, and this time the newly created "AUDIENCE Award 2018" was also announced.

Based on these results, Master Kawaguchi said as an overview, "Your skill level is rising and there's nothing to fault. At this point the only difference is the ability to impart ideas and feelings. Without making gunpla, skills will weaken, so please keep on making them, receive inspiration from various places, and the ability to express will spread from there. Looking forward to next year, I hope everyone will do their best. Thank you for your hard work." and the event ended.

This time, it was the Japanese champion, Toki-custam's work "The White Devil, at the end of battle" and Utsugi's work "Gundam Exia Repair II -A New Movement-, and on December 9, 2018 (Sun) at "Gundam Base Tokyo" in Odaiba, Tokyo, who will represent Japan at the world championships, and representative works from each country will compete for the world's crown. Broadcast of the world championship finals will be shown on THE GUNDAM BASE LIVE（YouTube）, Gundam Fan Club, and other sites.
