The ROBOT SPIRITS Perfect Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E. releases today on Saturday, May 23rd, from the ROBOT SPIRITS robot figure series that recreates the articulation and designs from the settings and scenes from each series. Its price is 7,920 JPY (tax included).
This item is a recreation of the Perfect Gundam, the protagonist Shiro Kyoda’s uniquely customized iconic plastic model kit from the Plamo-Kyoshiro manga series that features battle simulations using plastic model kits.
The figure has gained a wide range of articulation due to the retracting mechanism in the shoulder armor and through a close examination of the armor around the abdomen/groin.
It is equipped with its main armaments such as the Twin Beam Guns, a Shoulder Cannon, and a Shield, and the shield-securing belt that was created by customizing the band from a wristwatch has also been recreated. Removable Saber Grip and Mines can also be stored on the back of the shield.
The head uses newly designed parts and the various expressions seen in the manga can be recreated with interchangeable face parts. Its armor can be removed as a gimmick unique to this ROBOT SPIRITS release. It can also be enjoyed as a normal RX-78-2 Gundam.
