Monthly Hobby Japan 55th ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL to be Held at AKIBA Culture's Zone from October 23rd to 27th!

The Monthly Hobby Japan 55th ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL, an event celebrating the 55th anniversary of the publication of Monthly Hobby Japan, will be held from Wednesday, October 23rd to Sunday, October 27th at AKIBA Culture's Zone in Tokyo.

The event will feature a display corner where selected masterpieces that have been featured on the Hobby Japan magazine, as well as a space where you can place your own model on a diorama base to take photos. There will also be a demonstration corner held by professional modelers, and sales of limited-edition merchandise featuring the Hobby Japan logo and covers.
Details about a 55th anniversary project will also be revealed at the event, and special guests are scheduled to make appearances on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th.

Furthermore, a talk show will also be held at Shinjuku Loft Plus One in Tokyo on Friday, November 15th. There will be talk sessions that can only be heard at the venue, including discussions with the editorial staff. You can place your own models on the diorama base and take photos!

This is a space where you can actually experience tools and items developed by Hobby Japan. Try them out by using them with your own hands!

HJ professional modeler Kei Shimizu will hold a demonstration corner where you can witness their techniques on the spot! There will also be a Q&A session!
