The Key Visual and Story for the SD GUNDAM WORLD HEROES Side Story, THE LEGEND OF DRAGON KNIGHT, Have Been Revealed!

SD GUNDAM WORLD HEROES: THE LEGEND OF DRAGON KNIGHT, the side story project for SD GUNDAM WORLD HEROES, revealed its key visual today, November 17th.

They opened a special webpage today where they also released illustrations of the Knight Strike Gundam and the WARLOCK AEGIS GUNDAM, two main characters in the story.

Also, during the HOBBY NEXT PHASE 2021 AUTUMN online event held by BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, they announced the release of kits made for the new characters like WARLOCK AEGIS GUNDAM. More information such as the release date will be announced in the near future.

[Story]
Through the efforts of the heroes, the world escaped the threat of collapse due to the Dark Mask and peace was restored. All the heroes then returned to their respective homes.

A few years later...
Throughout Knight World, disturbing rumors have begun to spread, saying that a group calling itself the "Z Clan" is building its strength and scheming to overthrow King Arthur's reign. Arthur Gundam Mk-III, the ruler of Knight World, orders his young nephew Knight Strike Gundam to investigate. To seek the facts behind the rumors, Knight Strike Gundam leaves Castle Camelot and sets out on a journey.

・Knight Strike Gundam
Knight Strike Gundam is Arthur's nephew and a candidate for the next king.
Due to his young age, he didn’t participate in the fight against Qiongqi.
However, he studied hard and refined his skills during the battles and grew up into a marvelous knight.
He is an honest and kind young man with a strong sense of justice.

・WARLOCK AEGIS GUNDAM
Warlock Aegis Gundam is a young leader who rebels against King Arthur's administration in the Knight World, a land that finally regained peace.
He has a quiet but brutal personality, and began holding a grudge toward Knight Strike after encountering him on the battlefield.

WARLOCK AEGIS GUNDAM, which appears in the side story, will be made into a kit. It’s scheduled for release in 2022, with kits for the other new characters to follow. More information, such as the exact sales date, will be released soon.

Also, SDW HEROES Knight Strike Gundam, on sale in May 2022, is available for preorder at shops that carry model kits, so make sure to check that out.
