The Gundam World CONTRAST in Okinawa Will Be Held Starting July 29th! Advance Tickets Now on Sale!

Gundam World CONTRAST, a new traveling event featuring the Gundam series, will be held in Okinawa starting July 29th at the San-A Urasoe West Coast PARCO CITY 2F Center Plaza.

Gundam World CONTRAST is an exhibit that digs deep into the charms of both Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED by contrasting them. It’s a type of Gundam event that has never been held before.
The exhibit corners are split into four areas that contrast the historical backgrounds, famous scenes, growth of the main characters, and more details of each series. The merchandise corner features GUNPLAs that can only be purchased at this event, apparel, and other kinds of limited edition products.
There will also be content only available in Okinawa, such as an exhibit made in collaboration with Okinawa and Okinawa-only merchandise.

There are standard advance tickets and advance tickets with a limited-edition HAROPLA, both of which can be purchased on E+ starting today. They’re only available while supplies last, so don’t miss this chance. There will be same-day tickets available at the venue.

There are two types of advance tickets and one type of same-day ticket available for this event.

■Story Wall
The Story Wall compares the points of view of the main characters Amuro Ray of Mobile Suit Gundam and Kira Yamato of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
The story of each series is exhibited in four areas. Each area includes scenographic art that matches each area and dioramas that realistically depicts famous scenes. There are also exhibits featuring 3D panels and videos using specially drawn illustrations of Amuro and Kira for this event.

■Special Photo Spot
There is a special photo spot using an original visual as a background where you can immerse yourself in the world of Contrast.

■Other Concept Exhibits
Katsumi Kawaguchi of BANDAI SPIRITS, a GUNPLA evangelist who is known as Meijin Kawaguchi, created new dioramas of famous scenes of each series and installed special exhibits that feature the concept of CONTRAST such as 3D panels of the main characters and visuals of the Mobile Suits.
