Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY Starts in October! YOASOBI Will Sing the Opening Theme The Blessing; Plus, the Newest Trailer Is Out!
The PROLOGUE episode will go on air in September!
The first episode of the newest Gundam Series TV animation title, Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY, will be broadcast in October.
Before the first episode, a PROLOGUE episode will be broadcast as well.
Additionally, the opening theme of THE WITCH FROM MERCURY will be The Blessing by YOASOBI. In addition to a new trailer showcasing a portion of the song, key visuals for the main Mobile Suit Gundam Aerial and the lead characters, plus two new characters and a new Mobile Suit have been unveiled.
Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY is a story set in a new world. Both Gundam fans and people who approach the series for the first time will be able to enjoy it, so make sure to check it out.

The Blessing by YOASOBI, the song that will serve as the anime’s opening theme, has been produced based on Cradle Planet, a new novel by Ichiro Okochi, who is in charge of the series composition and scenario.
The Blessing’s CD includes an original GUNPLA (a collaboration design with YOASOBI of the MS Demi Trainer), marking stickers for the HG Gundam Aerial created in collaboration with YOASOBI, and the full-length version of the Cradle Planet novel.

Two new characters and one Mobile Suit unveiled!
Two characters and one Mobile Suit that will appear in the anime have been unveiled.
The characters are Nika Nanaura and Chuatury Panlunch. Nika will be voiced by Yume Miyamoto, while Miyu Tomita will voice Chuatury.
Chuatury Panlunch’s Mobile Suit, the Chuchu’s Demi Trainer, has also been revealed.

This is Yume Miyamoto. I will voice Nika Nanaura. I first watched an older Gundam series a few years ago, and I was so excited that I started dreaming about acting in a Gundam-related work one day. I was moved at merely having the chance to audition for the role, but at the same time, Nika’s thoughts really resonated with me. When I got the notice that I passed the audition, I thought it was destiny and was elated. Nika supports those around her through her job as a mechanic, and she’s a devoted, reliable person. I’ll approach this role with a lot of love in my heart, so I don’t lose to the depth of Nika’s own love!

When I first saw Chuchu at the audition, I felt as though I was struck by lightning. I auditioned with all my might, thinking, “I really want to voice her,” so I was thrilled that I got the role. Chuchu has a brash mouth and attitude and looks hard to approach, but she loves her friends and is a lovely girl. I’m putting my whole body and soul into voicing her every day to make her charm shine through as much as possible, so look forward to hearing my performance!

This time it’s set at a school, drawing a line from the previous titles in the Gundam series, so I imagine that fans must be excited and nervous. Even we in the cast only know the story up to the scenario book we are given before each dubbing session. I’m deliberately not thinking about how the story continues and doing my best to live as Guel, seeing the story unfold little by little before my eyes! I’ll be happy if you will watch it until the end.

I’ve acted in Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans before, but this is my first time playing a Mobile Suit pilot, so I’m really happy. My role, Elan, is a cute boy, isn’t he? I like that you can see his knees. He’s a lonely guy who hasn’t opened up his heart to anyone in the Academy, so when I play him, I talk as though I’m not communicating with the people around me. He grows interested in Suletta, but just what will their relationship be like? There’s still a little time to go before the show goes on air, so look forward to it!

That same day, her daughter is celebrating her fourth birthday...

The glowing or non-glowing states of the Shell Units can be recreated using parts with in-mold decorations or combining double-sided stickers and clear parts. The beam parts are modeled in clear plastic. Additionally, the shield can be divided into eleven Bit Staves and attached to various parts on the MS’s body, making for a dramatic image.
*In-mold decoration is a method of transferring patterns on parts surfaces. The pattern is printed on a film that gets inserted in an injection mold before injecting resin into it.
