*GUNDAM-DOCK TOWER Viewing tickets cannot be purchased without an entry ticket. Please purchase both types of tickets together.

*A set time and date will be written on your ticket. Each entry ticket holder will be given 2 hours in the facility, and each G-DOCK TOWER ticket holder will be given 1 hour.
*The facility is set to be closed on fixed days for maintenance. Operating hours might also be subject to change depending on the season.
*Due to restrictions on the number of people allowed to enter at one time, tickets cannot be purchased at the door.
*The Yamashita-Futou Area will be closed off outside of operating hours.

GUNDAM Café YOKOHAMA is a pop-up café that’s open just for the length of the event. You can try different dishes from the original menu and local dishes that Yokohama is known for, as well as enjoy merchandise exclusive to the event.

■CONFERENCE ROOM
It’s a communication space that hosts talk shows, lectures, research announcements, and workshops, among other events. There are plans to carry out collaborative projects between businesses, research institutions, and schools.

What is Gundam GLOBAL CHALLENGE?

The 18-meter life-sized Gundam made its first appearance in 2009. Gazing upon its figure with its feet planted onto the earth, it was the first sign that the dream that had long captured the hearts of many could come true. Now that Gundam has welcomed its 40th anniversary in 2019, it will move Japan, and thus the world.

“Challenge the dream. GUNDAM will move. The world will move.”

And thus, we tackled the ultimate dream of making the 18-meter life-sized Gundam move! To realize this grand dream, we put together a project team, called on ideas and plans from every corner of the world, and with Japan as the axis, this global project marched forward. Through open innovation, we compiled various opinions, wisdom, and techniques in order to put together a single plan. From the preliminary design to the final design, then the inspections and the test runs, and then finally, production… It’s 2020. Our desire to make our dreams a reality, our technique and craftsmanship that we can boast of to the world, and everyone’s strong, passionate wishes that surpassed all divisions and generations -- those are the things that will make the Gundam move. Gundam will bring to life the best entertainment in history that the world has ever seen.
