The New F00/AI Awakening! Show for the GFY Moving Gundam Starts January 1, 2022!

GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY), a facility where you can experience the dream-like reality of an 18m-tall life-sized moving Gundam, will start the new show F00/AI Awakening! starting Saturday, January 1, 2022.

The new performance has the concept of “GFY performing movement experiments by adding parts that were discovered in Yokohama,” and the story develops with that setting. The story will make attendees feel connected to the Moving Gundam and they’ll be able to enjoy new poses and more delicate, smooth movements.

Also, to celebrate the GFY 1ST ANNIVERSARY that will be reached on Sunday, December 19h, there are campaigns such as posting nostalgic photos and sales of latte art featuring original designs going on until Sunday, January 30, 2022.

Also, the popular Online Backyard Tour given after GFY closed for the day by the directors who participated in the creation of the GUNDAM-DOCK, the deck where the Movable Gundam is stored, will once again be available to watch on streaming for a limited time. There will also be new products developed for sale including apparel and miscellaneous merchandise, including a poster featuring a design that shows off the mechanics of the Movable Gundam.

There will be various plans put in place to show off the Movable Gundam’s charms in the new year, so please take this chance to visit.

The Online Backyard Tour given after GFY closed for the day by the directors who participated in the creation of the GUNDAM-DOCK, the deck where the Movable Gundam is stored that is only open to maintenance staff, will once again be available to watch on streaming for a limited time. It’s a series that features missions from A to E, and this time there’s an all-you-can-watch pack that allows you to freely watch whichever you want whenever you want during the time period. For those who missed the original streaming period or those who want to watch it again, make sure to check it out. There will also be English subtitles available for those who want to watch from overseas, so you can’t miss this chance no matter where you are in the world.
