Gundam Park Fukuoka Will Open in April in Lalaport Fukuoka! More Details Including Limited Edition GUNPLAs Have Been Revealed!
It’s a facility that brings together merchandise, sports entertainment, and amusement!
Gundam Park Fukuoka, a complex facility where you can fully enjoy the world of the Mobile Suit Gundam series, will open in the Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Fukuoka when it opens in April.
Gundam Park Fukuoka is split into three areas: GUNDAM SIDE-F, an area that deals sharing the latest Gundam information and merchandise; VS PARK WITH G, an experience-based activity and sports entertainment area built in collaboration with Gundam; and namco, an amusement area where you can enjoy arcade crane games.
Also, there will be a lot of information and ways to enjoy the Life-size vGundam Statue that will be built at Lalaport Fukuoka, so you can enjoy the park still filled with the excitement from seeing the statue in person.
The limited edition GUNPLA that will be sold at GUNDAM SIDE-F has also been revealed.

① Shop Area GUNDAM SIDE-F
GUNDAM SIDE-F is the shop area that handles various Gundam information and merchandise including the RX-93ff vGundam.
This area was designed in the image of the space colony. There’s a monitor that’s 10 meters wide and 6 meters tall that will screen impressively impactful videos that can’t be seen anywhere else. Near the monitor is a GUNPLA building space, so you can put together your GUNPLA while feeling like you’re in the world of Gundam due to the videos playing on the monitor.
Also, there will be displays of information about Gundams, including about the RX-93ff vGundam, as well as events held here. This shop will also have various limited edition products for sale.

② The Sports Entertainment Area VS PARK WITH G
VS PARK WITH G is a collaboration area between Gundam and VS park, a new type of variety sports center that features experiences that make you feel like you’re in a fun TV game show.
More than 20 of the popular sports activities from VS PARKs around the nation, including the popular Nigekiru (where you try to escape fierce animals) and Yokekiru (where you avoid attacks from beasts) games, have been redesigned to feature the world of Gundam for activities that you can only enjoy here.
Among other things, there are also photo spots with the RX-93ff vGundam so everyone from lifelong Gundam fans to people who have never heard of Gundam before can enjoy this facility.

The design is based on the RX-93v Gundam that appeared in the Gundam series’ first original movie, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack.
The vGundam that appears in that movie has a stylish design and a dramatic affinity with its pilot character, so it’s popular both in and outside Japan.
The RX-93ff vGundam is equipped with a new Long Range Fin Funnel. It was supervised by the general director of the Gundam series, Yoshiyuki Tomino, and it has highly saturated tricolor markings.
The design is based on the RX-93v Gundam that appeared in the Gundam series’ first original movie, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack.
