Gundam cast members are among the 9th Seiyu Awards winners announced March 6th!

Recipients of the ninth annual Seiyu Awards, recognizing the most impressive voice acting of the past year, were announced March 6th.

Public votes on performances in new titles announced between December 1st, 2013 and November 30th, 2014 formed the basis for selections by panelists that were then reviewed by a core group of judges.

Winning Gundam cast members included Best Supporting Actor Katsuyuki Konishi (voice of Gundam-san's Char) and Best Supporting Actress Miyuki Sawashiro ( Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin's Crowley Hamon), with Ryota Osaka, voice of Gundam Reconguista in G's Klim Nick, taking home Best New Actor.
Veterans Fuyumi Shiraishi, voice of Mobile Suit Gundam's Mirai Yashima, and Akio Otsuka, voice of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory's Anavel Gato, also recieved special awards from the panel.
