Introducing the Brand-New Menu Items One After Another! GUNDAM Café “Tekkadan, Second Fair”: The Advanced Second Menu Food Sampling Party Report.

The widely popular “Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans ~Tekkadan, Second Fair~”, currently held at the official GUNDAM Cafés – GUNDAM Café Akihabara and GUNDAM Café DiverCity Tokyo Plaza – and the GUNDAM SQUARE in Osaka, will finally begin its second half beginning from November 17^th. A press-only advanced food sampling party was held at the Akihabara store ahead of the public opening and a portion of the new items on the menu from the second half were unveiled.

The new menu, which uses food and other famous scenes in the anime, is full of elaborately planned masterpieces. We will also be introducing the shot glasses and coasters given as extras when ordering the set menu that were on display together with the food.

▲”The Uno Family Dining Table ~ Specialty Cream Stew~”
Though it is rich in flavor, the stew has such a light aftertaste that one could possibly eat dozens of bowls in one sitting. The meatballs are well seasoned and its compatibility with the baguette is excellent!

▲”Tenderness and Admiration ~Replicate Plate~”
A dish recreation of the food that the Tekkadan members often eat. Guests can enjoy the soft texture of the polenta (congee made from corn flour) together with a hearty number of garnishes!

▲”A Party Scheme ~Roast Beef and Smoked Duck~”
This menu item uses Rustall and Julieta as its inspiration and its slightly acidic, but effective flavor matches perfectly with a wine-based drink!

A simple, easy to eat dish of pastrami beef and grapefruit salad!

▲”Lupus Dog ~Shrimp Cutlet and Special Corn Dog~”
An outstanding, substantial shrimp cutlet and corn meal! A menu item that will completely fill your stomach.

▲ "Tekka-Bun ~ A Distinguished Spicy Taco Meat Flavor~"

The newly introduced “Tekka-Bun” has fragrantly seasoned taco meat which is best for when you’re hungry! It is planned to be offered as a limited takeout item until March 2017.

We are introducing more from the second half of the fair! The sweet cakes and fruits have excellent compatibility with the set’s afternoon tea.

▲”Orphans Tea Latte (Rustall)”
A hot cup that lets one breathe after a meal. The Rustall design is limited to the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza store and to GUNDAM SQUARE!

▲These are “dates” processed from palm trees; it is sweet and has a texture similar to black soybeans. The fruit was chosen based on the Mars’ palm fruit that Mikazuki is always eating and accompanies the new “Tenderness and Admiration” menu.

▲The cakes from “A Calming Afternoon ~Tea Time with the Bauduin Family~” and “A Tekkadan Merry Christmas” were specially arranged just for the food sampling party!

The second menu of the “Tekkadan, Second Fair” will be offered starting from November 17^th (Thurs.) Through the menu, guests can enjoy the world of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans while being completely satisfied from the taste and hearty food. The menu will be available for a limited time until December 25^th (Sun), so don’t miss it!
