What is TOKYO GUNDAM PROJECT?
The 18m Life-Sized Gundam Statue attracted much public attention, bringing joy and excitement, since 2009. The new Life-Sized Unicorn Gundam Statue was then introduced in September 2017.
Through the TOKYO Gundam Project, the Gundam Statue rose for the future of Tokyo, supporting the revitalization of the Tokyo Rinkai Fukutoshin area and the nurturing of global human resources in Tokyo. Along with providing practical international exchange opportunities to the younger generation, the project will develop policies that aim for the further revitalization and promotion of tourism in the Rinkai Fukutoshin area.
