The VR movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom was released today on Friday, October 4, 2024 on the Meta Quest Store.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom is a VR feature film produced in collaboration between Bandai Namco Filmworks and Atlas V, a company that has produced many VR works, and distributed by Astrea. Set in the year 0096 of the Universal Century, one of the eras of the Gundam series that celebrated its 45th anniversary this year, you can experience a life-sized Universal Century while participating in the story as the protagonist who belongs to Argent Keil, an unofficial mercenary organization that is neither the Federation nor Zeon.

In conjunction with the release, Mobile Suits such as the vGundam that appear in the MR (Mixed Reality) Content, an operating system that integrates real-world and virtual elements, have also been revealed on the official website, so be sure to check them out.
