The YOKOHAMA BASE Part of the GNF -BASE SERIES- Will Start on July 16th in the Yokohama Bay Area!
The “Prologue” of THE WITCH FROM MERCURY will also be shown!
The YOKOHAMA BASE of the special event GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE（GNF）-BASE SERIES-, which focuses on exhibits for Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY and can be enjoyed by all Gundam fans, will start in areas around Yokohama, Kanagawa on Saturday, July 16th.
YOKOHAMA BASE is taking place at venues around the Yokohama Bay area, such GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY), Minatomirai Line stations, and shopping facilities such as Yokohama Landmark Tower and MARK IS Minatomirai. Various programs are being held, such as introductions for Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY, viewings of the prologue to the series, displays of the latest products, and viewings of the “Prologue” of THE WITCH FROM MERCURY. It is generally free to participate and the event will last until July 31st, so please be sure to check it out.

●Gundam R (Recycle) Project 2022 at Landmark Plaza
The Ecopla 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Workshop Kit Ver., a plastic model created from recycled products, and a special booklet will be distributed free of charge, providing an opportunity to learn about recycling. By placing the runners (the frames the plastic model parts come in) in the collection box yourself, recycling becomes something familiar. There are also exhibits about efforts to recycle GUNPLA.

BANDAI SPIRITS is making an effort to adopt new materials in some of our plastic models to replace petroleum-derived plastics. The eggshell plastic used in these products is a new material that partially uses eggshells thrown away as industrial waste. By combining polystyrene resin and biological (biomass) materials, we can reduce the ratio of petroleum-derived plastic in products. BANDAI SPIRITS will continue to take on the challenge of initiatives that lead to a reduction in environmental impact.
