Anime-related domestic and international companies, organizations, and contents will gather at the world's largest anime event "AnimeJapan 2019" and "Family Anime Festa 2019" in March 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight.

Celebrating its 6th year, "ROCK" will be the theme this year, and plenty of great programming is in development.

With 150,000 visitors and over 241 exhibitors, the largest exhibition area ever prepared. Four stages of either 1,000 and 500 person capacity are deployed.

Public days are March 23 (Sat.) and 24 (Sun.) 2019, while business days are March 25 (Mon.) and 26 (Tue.) Tickets will be sold starting January 2019.

【AJ Stage】

Two stages with 1,000 capacity, and two stages with 500 capacity, for a total of four entertainment stages! Finales of popular works, "talk events" of the newest anime shows, "live events" as well, various activities will take place on the stages. ※AJ Stage is an advance application lottery system stage.

【Cosplayers World】

In addition to creating the official background, the popular "Cosplay Parade" has been powered up!? On top of that, an entertaining "Cosplayers World" will be planned.

The theme of "AnimeJapan 2019" is "ROCK"! There will be sales of unique to AnimeJapan goods based on illustrations based on the "ROCK" theme.

【Manga That You Want to See Animated Rankings!】

Held last year as well, the "Manga you want to see animated rankings!" is back! This year we are opening up to everyone nominations for works, and select nominated works for general voting.

A popular vote will be held at a later date for 2018's "Manga you want to be animated" and announce the resulting rankings during AnimeJapan 2019!

【Production Works Gallery】

The "Production Works Gallery" has shed light on the behind the scenes work of anime production. This year's theme is "The Sound of Anime", and we will examine the work and production of various anime.

Overseas buyers from 30 countries visited, various business opportunities both foreign and domestic are available. There is a consulting window on the anime business, and is a safe area for those who are in the animation business for the first time.

"Family Anime Festa 2019" is a family-only area where elementary school children and younger with their guardians are allowed to enter for free, it will be held at East Exhibit Hall 3 on March 23 (Sat.) and 24 (Sun.) 2019.

Say hello to stage characters and costumed characters, have fun in the play corner and food court, there is family-safe content for everyone to enjoy.
