The New Traveling Exhibition Event, Gundam World CONTRAST in Nagoya, Will Be Held at Nagoya PARCO Starting December 24th!

The Gundam series’ new traveling exhibition event, Gundam World CONTRAST in Nagoya, will be held at the Parco Gallery on the 6th floor in the west building of Nagoya PARCO in Aichi Prefecture starting Friday, December 24, 2021.

This is the first time this event is being held. It was developed as a Gundam event that’s never been held before as it takes the charms of both Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, digs deeply through them from various angles, and interweaves them in a display that contrasts them.
The display corner is split up into four areas that contrast the series from different angles like their historical backgrounds, famous scenes, or how the main characters grow throughout the story. In the sales corner, there are various kinds of limited edition merchandise for sale including GUNPLA that can’t be bought anywhere but here, apparel goods, and sundries.

Presale tickets are available in two types, a regular pre-sale ticket and one that comes with a limited edition Haropla, and can be purchased on E+. There will be same-day tickets available at the venue.

Participants will receive a Gundam World CONTRAST Limited Design Special Promotion Card that can be used on the latest arcade card game, Mobile Suit Gundam Arsenal Base (scheduled to be released in early spring 2022), as a freebie when they arrive at the venue. The event will be held until Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Same-day tickets can be purchased at the reception desk of Gundam World CONTRAST in the PARCO Gallery.

*The number of same-day tickets available depends on how many presale tickets of both kinds were sold. There may be days when no same-day tickets will be available.

*There are no same-day tickets that come with the limited Haropla.
*”Children” are considered children middle school age or under (roughly age 15). (Middle school aged children will be asked to show their student ID.)

This Story Wall is composed of scenes from the points of view of Amuro Ray, the main character of Mobile Suit Gundam, and Kira Yamato, the main character of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
The story of each series is split up into four areas. Each area includes spatial staging that matches the theme, dioramas presenting various scenes in 3D, special 3D panels of Amuro and Kira that use illustrations specially drawn for this event, and screenings of film footage.

Katsumi Kawaguchi of BANDAI SPIRITS, also known as GUNPLA evangelist Meijin Kawaguchi has created new dioramas of Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
