A Special Anime by Director Fukuda is Also Being Produced! PHASE-04 of the Making and Documentary of the Life-Size Freedom Gundam Statue in Shanghai Has Been Released!

The Open Door, PHASE-04 of the making and documentary about the Life-Size Freedom Gundam that will have its opening ceremony on Friday, May 28, was released on the streaming service bilibili on Friday, May 21.

The making and documentary follows the entirety of the grand-scale project of the first overseas life-size Gundam statue.
PHASE-04 features the prayer for safety ceremony that was performed on Monday, April 26, as the final stage of construction. On the other hand, in Japan, the director Mitsuo Fukuda of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED produced a special animated film for this statue. The documentary also includes behind-the-scenes footage.

The opening ceremony of the Life-Size Freedom Gundam Statue held on Friday, May 28, will be streamed to the whole world on bilibili. The statue will be revealed with a gorgeous display and special guests will make appearances.
