Strike Gundam and the Archangel, defeating Waltfeld after a fierce fight, take course towards Alaska. Cagalli of the “Desert Dawn” insists that she is needed on the ship and invites herself to come aboard the Archangel.
After the continuously strained situation, the Archangel finally experiences a moment of peace as it enters the Red Sea. The crew enjoys the sea breeze and takes a must needed break.
Rivalry between Cagalli and Flay for Kira’s affection unfolds out on the deck…
However, the peace is short lived as the silence is broken by Morassim’s Team of the ZAFT forces, led by aerial mobile suits DINN and underwater mobile suits GOOhN. The ZAFT attacks the Archangel from the air and sea. Strike Gundam grabs a bazooka and go underwater. Kira struggles with his first undersea warfare, but manages to fight off two GOOhNs.
In the meantime, Athrun and Nicol of the Le Creuset Team still in a PLANT, boards the Vesalius and heads for Earth to join forces for a pursuit battle against the Archangel.
